Standing offer arrangement for auction mart services

A has been established for Queensland Government agencies to access a panel of auction services throughout Queensland including Brisbane, Bundaberg, Gold Coast, Toowoomba, Townsville, Rockhampton and Cairns.

How to use the standing offer arrangement

It's easy! The officer who is responsible for disposing of agency items completes the Disposals Form and faxes or posts it to Queensland Purchasing. Here's how:

1. Complete your details where indicated on the Disposals Form,

2. Complete the section which asks for a description of the item(s) to be auctioned, including the condition of the item(s) using the "Condition Codes" listed on the form, and the "Reserve Price", if applicable. There are also additional pages attached to the Disposals Form for listing items if you require. Alternatively, you can attach your own list.

3. In the "Remarks" section, please circle "YES" or "NO" with regard to transport.

4. Sign the Disposals Form, where indicated.

5. Fax the completed and signed Disposals Form to Queensland Purchasing on (07) 3224 7921. Or you can post it to Queensland Purchasing, GPO Box 123, Brisbane, QLD 4001. PLEASE DO NOT SEND THE FORM TO THE AUCTIONEER.

6. Where applicable the Data Security Form (attached to the Disposals Form) needs to be signed and faxed to Queensland Purchasing.

The Data Security Form is provided to ensure that all confidential information has been removed by your agency from computers, mobile phones or similar media equipment prior to sale. Queensland Purchasing Government Disposals can arrange this if required.
